My husband and I are going no / low carb. We are incredibly lucky and had a beautiful daughter four years ago on our first round of IVF but for the last two years have been trying, unsuccessfully, for another baby. We are about to embark upon our 8th round of IVF. Having read up a lot on fertility diets there is research to say that a low or no carb diet can improve your chances significantly. Although as a vegetarian going low carb might be tricky to be honest at this stage of the game I’m willing to try anything. We are lucky enough to have a frozen embryo to use this time so my husband won’t have direct input into this IVF cycle but he’s joining in the diet with me for moral support and he’d also like to lose a bit of weight and generally eat more healthily.
